Mille Miglia Eligible

1956 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider white with red leather interior piped black, red carpeting and black convertible top. This is a restored, rare early tunnel shifter 4-speed manual, 1300cc, which is Mille Miglia eligible.

This Car's Past

This Giulietta Spider, previously owned by Ben Caiola, is a rare first year example that is eligible for the famed Mille Miglia Retrospective. It was manufactured on November 15, 1956 and subsequently sold new by Hoffman Motor Cars, New York City on November 23, 1956. A long time rust free California example, it has in the last few years been restored from what was already an excellent example. More recently, this Alfa has been owned and cared for by a well-known Arizona collector where it has been serviced throughout and kept in superb condition for immediate use at a moment’s notice. This Giulietta has recently been serviced, with brake work and all gauges have been refinished.

History of the Model

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta was a family car made by Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo from 1954 to 1965. It was Alfa Romeo's first, successful, foray into the 1.3-litre class. In mid 1955, the open two-seat Giulietta Spider was introduced, featuring convertible bodywork by Pininfarina.

Market Trend

The early Alfa spiders will provide immeasurable driving pleasure and pride of ownership, as well as being excellent investments, as recent sales have demonstrated.

A well-sorted example that is an extremely fun to drive, this Alfa is superb in every way. This automobile would make a welcomed addition to any collection.
